It’s now official: Rhode Island has a new snowfall record for last week’s Blizzard of ’26. Coming in at 37.9 inches at T.F. Green Airport, the storm broke the old “Blizzard of ‘78” record by more than 9 inches. But was it a new record in northern Rhode Island? I have a Woonsocket bias, because that’s where I lived and worked it.
