Tom York is a former veteran journalist, who knows his way around a newsroom. But these days he serves as a news media consultant, as well as occasional free-lance writer, specializing in technology.
His news experience ranges from working on a national weekly news magazine early in his career to managing the newsrooms of five weekly business journals.
He has spent more than a decade running a successful PR consulting firm, so he can point to a long list of satisfied clients.
He has worked with businesses across many sectors, especially technology and Web-based startups, and has landed client placements in publications ranging from The Wall Street Journal to local community news outlets, as well radio and television.
