Rich List retail boss Ruslan Kogan has slammed $20 hotel laundry fees as insane and taken to washing his clothes in a hotel bath this week. On Thursday, Mr Kogan, the founder of discount retailer Kogan.com declared it a waste of money to pay expensive hotel laundry fees and encouraged his followers to use the bath just like him. “It’s just very quick and easy to get the washing done yourself, rather than pay the insane prices,” Mr Kogan told his followers on X.

Telstra outage: Police still trying to chase 170 emergency callers as CEO returns from leave

Telstra’s finance chief Michael Ackland says police are still trying to contact 170 people who made failed triple-0 calls during Wednesday’s network outage, as the telco’s chief executive flys back from a holiday to grapple with a deepening public relations crisis. The country’s largest telecommunications company said 639 emergency calls failed to connect during the outage, which disrupted public transport, payment systems and mobile services across the country.
