Like almost everyone else, though, Nurse was floored by Philly acquiring Jaylen Brown from the Boston Celtics. Nurse has spent his summer bracing for a roster with a suddenly higher floor and ceiling after the 76ers had 45 wins and the East’s No. 7 seed last season.

The King has been reunited with his grandchildren after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex paid a visit to the head of state at his country retreat, it's been reported. Charles welcomed Meghan and Harry's youngsters to his Highgrove estate during the afternoon following days of rumours about whether the family get-together would go ahead. Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, last clapped eyes on their grandfather face-to-face during Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee festivities in 2022.
