Cocina Latina, a popular Latin restaurant in Greece, has closed after almost 13 years in business. The take-out restaurant at 2960 Dewey Ave. in Greece was known for its classic Puerto Rican fare including pernil (roast pork), shredded chicken, baked chicken, bacalao, empanadas, yellow rice, plantains and much more. Owners Nelson Viera and Kim Hosenfeld opened the restaurant in September of 2013; it closed on June 27. "This was not an easy choice for us," the restaurant posted on Facebook.
