Aina - The Sunlight Press
by Trae Stewart Black sands offer a mele pule to emerald neighbors. Fronds sway to melodies, faunal dusters of the sky, rhythmic, like taps on the pahu, a collective heartbeat. As honu grin below the lilikoi star, crystal waves crash to trickles. The ancient design continues where spirits of sea and land converge.

The authors document an impressive expansion of tele-counselling in rural Cameroon, wherein nurses utilise a Spanish-based digital platform to access asynchronous consultations with volunteer specialists. Their findings are timely and offer an important contribution to our understanding of digital health interventions in under-resourced settings.

The harrowing mass shooting in Lewiston, Maine, has again thrust the U.S. back into the all-too-familiar and increasingly frustrating cycle of grief, rage and legislative stagnation. A predictable pattern ensues: gun violence, assault weapons blamed, redirection of focus to mental illness as the scapegoat and heads back into the sand.
