Since graduating with upper second class honours in BA Journalism in 2010, I have built up a strong reputation in B2B reporting. Having reported on various industry sectors, I have developed my craft in news and feature writing in verticals such as technology, to fashion, travel-retail, and now currently reporting for an established magazine title in warehouse logistics.
Working in commercial environments, there is a fine line between writing to please clients and writing to appeal to readers, but have spent years writing in B2B to know where to draw that line in the sand. My stories have graced the front pages of reputed publications, have facilitated at conference panel sessions, and have presented video and podcast interviews. I also have visited many press events and trade shows, representing the titles I have worked for, while driving the editorial and commercial agendas with the titles I have worked for. Currently, I work for global events company Informa Group to organise conferences. roundtables and exhibitions along with editing the SHD Logistics monthly title and to keep readers up to date with news and features online.
Of course, away from work it is a great time to recharge. A keen traveller, I also play the guitar and am an avid reader of The Guardian. I love food, and my downtime is often spent in the coffee shop reading, watching a strong dose of TV series on Netflix, or in the gym catching up on any hidden gems on Spotify.
