Founded as Barron's National Financial Weekly in 1921 by Clarence W. Barron (1855–1928) as a sister publication to The Wall Street Journal, Barron's covers U.S. financial companies, market developments, and relevant statistics. Minneapolis Fed's Neel Kashkari voted against holding interest rates steady at the Fed's last meeting. He pointed to five years of persistently high inflation and brought up the possibility of a quarter-point hike to get prices under control. Kashkari laid out his case Sunday morning on CBS News. “Well, I want to get more data as yet to come between now and our next FOMC meeting, so I don’t want to prejudge things,” Kashkari told the network's Face the Nation.
