The former Las Vegas Raiders first-round pick is serving a three to 10-year sentence for a felony DUI charge and a misdemeanor count of vehicular manslaughter, stemming from a 2021 car crash that killed 23-year-old Tina Tintor and her dog. Ruggs has spoke publicly about wanting a second chance in the NFL when and if he is given another opportunity.

12 dead in crash of plane on skydiving outing in Missouri, authorities say

BUTLER, Mo. — A plane carrying a pilot and 11 passengers planning to spend a sunny afternoon skydiving crashed Sunday in Missouri, killing all aboard, authorities said. The Missouri State Highway Patrol said in a statement that troopers were at the crash site, assisting the Butler Police Department & Bates County Sheriff’s Office. The crash occurred near the Butler Memorial Airport.

The flag, measuring about the size of a football field, was unveiled on Memorial Day as part of a celebration for America250, commemorating the 250th anniversary of the country.
