1 Introduction Anionic polymerization is a useful synthesis technique for its ability to produce polymers with targeted molecular weight, narrow molecular weight distribution, and well-defined end-group functionality. Recently, there has been renewed interest in the anionic polymerization of polymyrcene, given that it comes from a biobased source [1] and offers interesting properties because of its low glass transition temperature, long side chain, and high entanglement molecular weight [2, 3].
