Do you believe someone should go to jail for taking their medicine? For some Texans who use a form of cannabis for pain or other medical conditions, that’s a very possible reality. Texans are being convicted for possessing certain tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) products. Criminalizing them isn’t the answer. Instead, they should have better regulations on the products, such as setting strict age rules and improving the packaging.

The mixed-genre music artist Demi Lovato returns to release her ninth studio album titled “It’s Not That Deep” on Oct. 24. This dance-pop album has eleven tracks, including the singles “Fast,” “Here All Night,” and “It’s Not That Deep,” the title track. This is Lovato's first pop album since “Dancing with the Devil... the Art of Starting Over,” released in 2021.

The idea of emotional support animals, or “ESAs,” is part of an ongoing conversation about college students' need for support. College students are constantly stressed and trying to find any coping mechanisms to get them through college life, yet some believe that ESAs are a hoax and offer little to no comfort. On March 4th, 2025, I lost my mother to an unexpected brain hemorrhage, changing my life in a mere instant.
