2. Materials and Methods 2.1. Synthesis and Densification The title compounds Bi2−xSbxTe3 (0 ≤ x ≤ 0.9) were prepared by using elemental chunks (all from Alfa Aesar, Haverhill, MA, USA, and used as received) of bismuth (needles, 99.99%), tellurium (shots, 99.99%), and antimony (shots, 99.99%) as precursors. The elements were weighed to obtain the desired stoichiometry.
