@dcash781 @DaveMyFace @QuigleyShaun @CrazyGman2013 @Supermoosie @TheAusInstitute This clearly isn't your day job @dcash781. AEMO has neglected to update their generation information spreadsheets. Statement of Opportunities reflects AEMO's system adequacy views. @AEMO_Media you need to update some info in generation information pages.
@TimKellyAdl @JoshFrydenberg @Mark_Butler_MP Yes we need the Federal Government to put in place mechanism to increase ambition of international target in line with LGC voluntary surrender. Promised but not delivered!
@dcash781 @DaveMyFace @QuigleyShaun @CrazyGman2013 @Supermoosie @TheAusInstitute I'm afraid you've pulled out a quote from the generation information pages that represents a practice they've since improved upon. Solar is having marked effect on peak demand. See pictures below from AEMO publications and go check:  http://www.aemo.com.au/-/media/Files/Electricity/NEM/Planning_and_Forecasting/NEM_ESOO/2017/2017-NEM-ESOO-Methodology.pdf . https://t.co/B3XwSj2r5V
@TimKellyAdl Yes, its complicated but Green Energy Markets will check how many of the LGCs from each corporate PPA-linked project are voluntarily surrendered. That will give us our answer. You can't hide with the REC Registry! Need same transparency for NEG. @JoshFrydenberg @Mark_Butler_MP
@DaveMyFace @dcash781 @QuigleyShaun @CrazyGman2013 @Supermoosie @TheAusInstitute You cherry picking fool, there are several periods in recent times where coal heavy QLD had prices thru the roof while SA prices were about $80. Also what do you think happened to SA prices during similar hot weather in past when wind & solar capacity was far smaller?
