On April 9, 2026, Southern Nazarene University’s International Student Society (ISS) hosted Passport to Culture, an annual event where international students showcased photos, artifacts, and traditional food from their home countries. Each attendee received a “passport” upon entering and could collect stamps from every booth. ISS is a society within SALT’s Student Belonging team that meets twice a month to create time for international students to fellowship with one another.

Resurrection Sunday is celebrated by SNU students and faculty in varying ways. All classes are canceled on Good Friday to give students the opportunity to reflect on Christ’s death and celebrate His resurrection the following Sunday. Jim Fitzgerald, Ph.D., spoke in chapel on Tuesday of Holy Week. With an awareness of where the church is in the Christian calendar and the 2025-2026 verse of the year, he shared from John 8:31-41, 58-59 and Mark 14:1-10.

Across the SNU campus, there are a few sets of identical twins. The Baugher and [Hoffpauir] twins embrace how they share the same looks, DNA, and upbringing, and now similar college experiences. Senior identical twins Layke and Hunter Baugher can often be found together in the cafeteria or on the rugby field. After graduating from high school, the Baughers began working as diesel mechanics. Soon after, they decided they wanted to do something different.
