1 Background Mental health remains essential to overall health and well-being, and it is critical to address mental health throughout the life course [1]. Particularly during adolescence (10–19 years), mental health is crucial as it is a distinctive and formative period for social and emotional development, which establishes the basis for long-term and intergenerational health and well-being [2, 3].
