How is social media changing news?
It has both greatly expanded the reach and scope of news. It has also lowered the bar for verifiable sources and media literacy.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be constantly curious and fascinated by the world and sharing that insight with others.

E-mails.

Slack, Google Docs, and Open Office.

Why did you become a journalist?
I want to help creatives find their audience and I want audiences to think more about the media they consume.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Remain open to feedback and critique from your editors. They're there to help refine your voice; let them.
