A few months ago in LA, I plopped myself in the corner of a bustling warehouse full of upcoming game demos and industry people, Steam Deck in hand. I was unceremoniously given the handheld with Blood Dungeon running on it. Though tired from a full day of demoing, something about Blood Dungeon hooked me right from the start and reignited my vigor. It's a Survivors-like game -- or "Bullet Heaven," if you will -- so that's a quick way to catch my attention.
