The versatile 6-foot-10 Daugherty attends Lee's Summit High School in Missouri. Daugherty is a 3-star prospect and ranked 153rd nationally in the 2027 high school class, according to the 247Sports Composite, but his recruitment was relatively under the radar. It wasn't until June that Daugherty received his first power-conference offer, which came from Oklahoma.
