Freeport, Ill. (WTVO) — Severe storms rolled through the Stateline area Tuesday night, causing significant damage in Freeport. A building on East Spring Street, home to Royal Oaks Antiques and Collectables, lost its awning and part of its facade. The collapse happened around 7 p.m., throwing debris into the street. Despite the extensive exterior damage to their building, the owners of Royal Oaks Antiques and Collectables expressed their desire to reopen.
