Tailored PEDOT:PSS phase segregation for high-efficiency flexible all-perovskite tandem solar cells and mini-modules - Nature Communications
Abstract Flexible all-perovskite tandem solar cells (TSCs) promise lightweight power for portable and aerospace uses, yet performance remains limited by interfacial losses in narrow-bandgap (NBG) sub-cells, particularly arising from poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS). Here, we uncover a previously unrecognized vertical phase segregation in PEDOT:PSS films, with an insulating PSS-rich surface layer atop a conductive PEDOT-rich base.
Design and Integration of Glass-fiber-cloth Networks in PEO-LLZTO Composite: A Multifunctional Approach for Electrolyte Engineering
Design and Integration of Glass-fiber-cloth Networks in PEO-LLZTO Composite: A Multifunctional Approach for Electrolyte Engineering Targeting next-generation batteries, a multifunctional composite polymer electrolyte (CPE) was developed by integrating glass-fiber-cloth (GFC) with PEO-Li6.4La3Zr1.4Ta0.6O12 (LLZTO). LLZTO improves thermal stability and ionic conductivity. GFC framework further reinforces mechanical strength and facilitates Li-ion dissociation, creating a Li-ion gradient.
Radiation resistant chalcopyrite CIGS solar cells: proton damage shielding with Cs treatment and defect healing via heat-light soaking
Radiation resistant chalcopyrite CIGS solar cells: proton damage shielding with Cs treatment and defect healing via heat-light soaking† Cu(In, Ga)Se2 (CIGS) solar cells are recognized as next-generation space technology due to their flexibility, lightweight nature, and excellent environmental stability. However, assessing their radiation durability remains challenging, necessitating thorough exploration for space viability. We conduct proton irradiation field tests with varying dosages at 380 keV.
