Review: Voidling Bound
Today’s title is going to be a rather interesting one. People who are fond of Skylanders will have a fun rump with this title developed by the same folk who worked in the series. This is Voidling Bound, a game in which you are in charge of a farm of exotic monsters that will clean up the world of an alien mutagen through shooting mechanics. The game is a shooter in which you breed monsters, restore peace to various worlds, and then proceed to get better stats and mutations.
Review: Mewgenics
This one’s pretty odd and whimsical. I am a big fan of Edmund McMillen’s works. From Spewer to The Binding of Isaac, I have played the games that defined a great era for flash games and indie games in general. So, imagine my shock when I learned that there’s a game that was made in conjunction with Tyler Glaiel (Closure, another game I’m a big fan of). This game takes on elements from strategy games and adds a really good twist to them and it’s got a lot of references to past works.

REVEIL Review - Versatile but Ineffective
Game Info REVEIL March 6, 2024 Platform PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S Publisher Daedelic Entertainment Developer Pixelsplit I'm a bit conflicted when it comes to walking simulator games. On one hand, they can be a fantastic outlet for artistic expression. On the other, they can be a monotonous endeavor that heavily relies on padding to justify itself.
Helldivers 2 ~200 Hours Later - A War Without A Cause
I got a lot of backlash following my Helldivers 2 review from many fanboys. Undeniably, this game took over the cultural zeitgeist for a while and is still one of the best sellers on Steam. In my review, I pointed out many of the game's problems, such as the server issues, the incredibly awful balancing, and the glitches and bugs it has. I capped things off by giving the game a 6/10, a score that I gave to another lacking live service of the same caliber: Payday 3.

Palworld First Impressions after 30 Hours - How It Feels to Enslave a Pal Original
Palworld's been one of those games that has dominated the world due to its unique "premise." Said premise is the cutesy little Pokemon-like Pals wielding guns while you explore a world of wonder. I won't address the discourse surrounding Palworld in this article; I'm here to offer my thoughts on the game after playing it for a few hours. While the Internet is currently deciding whether or not the game has ripped off GameFreak's property, I was busy immersing myself in the game.
Granblue Fantasy Relink Review - Exceeding Expectations Original
Game Info Granblue Fantasy Relink February 1, 2024 Platform PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 Granblue Fantasy Relink is one of those games that has caught my eye ever since it was announced many years ago. But, of course, the series didn't end with Trials and Tribulations.

Capcom Starts Implementing DRM that Prevents Modding to Their Back Catalog of Games
It seems like Capcom is going to take a more hands-on approach against mods this year. At least, that’s what their latest action is anything to go by. The company was found implementing a DRM infamous for causing performance issues but, more importantly, preventing the use of mods. This DRM is known as Enigma Protector DRM, and it’s one of the most highly unpopular DRMs next to Denuvo. Enigma Protector is a fairly straightforward DRM. Once implemented, the DRM prevents mods from being executed.

Capcom is Striking Down Videos With Mods in Their Games
Capcom is undoubtedly unhappy with the Chun-Li controversy that happened not too long ago. We say this because they are currently on a DMCA takedown spree targeting gameplay with mods in their games. Capcom Japan’s legal team is going after YouTube videos featuring any mod and issue takedown requests and copyright strikes. The nature of the games is indiscriminate, too. At first, it was believed that the targeted content was related to Monster Hunter Rise – Sunbreak.
