Iowa winters bring out the flu in full force. While we can make educated guesses about low temperatures, ice and expected snowfall, the flu season is always unpredictable. This is why it’s critically important for Iowans to get their flu shot. The CDC recommends any person over the age of six months get a flu shot, since it remains the No. 1 way to prevent you and your loved ones from contracting the flu.
