What was your first job as a journalist?
My first "job" as a journalist was writing for my high school newspaper, The Classic.
How is social media changing news?
It's putting a greater responsibility on outlets to share reputable information and expanding the definition of "news."
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means to tell stories that are important and uplift people's voices.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Email is the way to go!
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
A story that I wrote for my second college journalism class, covering the New York City Taxi Worker Alliance hunger strike.

Iced tea
