Haemorrhagic disorder in a child patient - British Dental Journal
This report highlights a rare and challenging case of a ten-year-old patient with Type 3 Von Willebrand Disease (VWD) who presented to a community dental clinic with persistent gingival bleeding and extensive caries. While bleeding diatheses such as VWD are uncommon, their dental implications can be profound, particularly when fear of haemorrhage leads to long-term oral neglect.

Life-cycle assessment of concrete production with carbon capture and carbon upcycling process
Concrete is one of the most widely used materials around the world, surpassed only by water. Concrete is a mixture of cement, coarse and fine aggregates (gravel and sand, respectively), water, air, and concrete admixtures – chemicals used in the processing of the concrete mixture. The CO2 footprint of the concrete is driven by the emissions from the production of one of its main ingredients, cement.
Optimally accurate second-order numerical scheme on layer-resolving graded mesh for singularly-perturbed boundary turning point problems exhibiting power-of-type-1 and hybrid layers

Making way for self-reliance in genome-based medicines
The current pandemic has shown us the power of biotechnology to transform healthcare. Be it the fast turnaround time to develop vaccines based on mRNA or the indigenous development of RT-PCR kits by various Indian institutions for diagnosis of COVID-19; Biotechnology has played a vital role in mitigating COVID-19 and provides a glimpse of the future of healthcare.

Image Gallery: A hard ‘pebbly’ plaque stuck on the upper eyelid
Dear Editor, A 15‐year‐old, otherwise healthy boy consulted us for an asymptomatic yellow–white plaque on his right upper eyelid of 2 years’ duration. (a) On examination, an oval plaque (0.5 × 1 cm) with a ‘pebbly’ surface and hard consistency was noted. (b) Dermoscopic examination (10× magnification) under polarized light showed closely aggregated irregular whitish clods in the absence of an appreciable vascular pattern, resembling a ‘fluffy cloud’.
Modification of the Fitzpatrick system of skin phototype classification for the Indian population, and its correlation with narrowband diffuse reflectance spectrophotometry - Sharma - 2018 - Clinical and Experimental Dermatology - Wiley Online Library
The Fitzpatrick classification for skin phototyping is widely used, but its usefulness in dark‐skinned populations has been questioned by some researchers. Recently, skin colour measurement has been proposed for phototyping skin colour objectively.

356P Early stage natural killer/T cell lymphoma with local tumor invasiveness treated with a uniform SMILE protocol: An institutional study from India
Background: Local Tumor Invasiveness (LTI) is among the strongest prognostic factors in Early Stage Nasal Natural Killer/T Cell Lymphoma (ES-NNKTCL), with very poor outcomes. Standard therapy is concurrent or sequential chemotherapy and radiotherapy (RT). SMILE (Dexamethasone, Methotrexate, Ifosfamide, L-asparaginase and Etoposide) is an intensive, highly active protocol in this disease. No prior study has explored SMILE with RT specifically for ES-NNKTCL with LTI.
