I was a Community Reporter for the regional and local press and I really loved it!

Why did you become a journalist?
I'm curious about people and I long to hear their stories. I need to understand how and why things are the way they are.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Master the basics, editors don't want sloppy copy.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
Someone approached me in a restaurant to 'tip me off' about an internal award they'd won at work.

Guinness :)
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Taking long walks or pottering in the garden.
