Brand repurchasing in channel switching: insights from omnichannel grocery retailing Open Access
Open figure viewer Keywords: Omnichannel retailing, Grocery, Brand repurchasing, Channel switching, Private labels Brand repurchasing has been attracting considerable interest, particularly in grocery retailing, where customer decisions are often driven by habitual behavior (Dubé et al., 2010; Henderson et al., 2021; Hoyer, 1984; Wood and Neal, 2009). While it is typically considered essential for manufacturers, understanding this behavior is also crucial for retailers.

Results of the Dutch scalp cooling registry in 7424 patients: analysis of determinants for scalp cooling efficacy
Chemotherapy-induced alopecia is a common consequence of cancer treatment with a high psychological impact on patients and can be prevented by scalp cooling (SC). With this multi-center patient series, we examined the results for multiple currently used chemotherapy regimens to offer an audit into the real-world determinants of SC efficacy. The Dutch Scalp Cooling Registry collected data on 7424 scalp-cooled patients in 68 Dutch hospitals.
Heteroresistance to piperacillin/tazobactam in Klebsiella pneumoniae is mediated by increased copy number of multiple β-lactamase genes
Piperacillin/tazobactam is a β-lactam/β-lactamase inhibitor combination with a broad spectrum of activity that is often used as empirical and/or targeted therapy among hospitalized patients.1 A recent randomized trial suggested an increased risk of mortality for ceftriaxone non-susceptible Enterobacterales infections treated with piperacillin/tazobactam compared with meropenem, despite MICs within the susceptible range, calling into question its use in such infections.2 Heteroresistance (HR),...
Ethnic variations in metabolic syndrome components and their associations with the gut microbiota: the HELIUS study - Genome Medicine
In total, we included 16,209 treatment naïve subjects across six ethnicities for whom the characteristics are displayed in Table 1. Both ethnicity and sex were consistently statistically significantly associated with MetS outcomes, indicated by MetS itself and both the binarized and continuous outcomes for the individual components (all p < 2.2 × 10−16), when adjusted for age.

Host genotype affects endotoxin release in excreta of broilers at slaughter age
1 Introduction In recent years, the Netherlands has shifted toward a new broiler production system. This system uses slow-growing broiler strains housed at reduced stocking densities (25–38 kg/m2) compared to the conventional production system using fast-growing broiler strains with a stocking density of 38 kg/m2 or higher (Bracke et al., 2019; Vissers et al., 2021; de Jong et al., 2022).

Comparison of the pathogenesis of these two host categories may potentially explain the difference in disease.

Brownlee can still be a danger in St George, if he's patient - McCormack
Chris McCormack will not be writing off Alistair Brownlee after that fourth on his return to action in Oceanside, but he does believe a change in strategy would help the two-time Olympic Champion in St George next month. The 33-year-old Yorkshireman led until the closing stages of an epic race before being caught and passed by eventual winner Jackson Laundry. Then Lionel Sanders and Rudy Von Berg also scorched past as Brownlee missed out on a podium spot.
Arena Games Munich 2022 Results: Raphael rules as big guns falter
Aurelien Raphael claimed a fine victory at Arena Games Munich 2022 on Saturday as big guns Alex Yee and Marten Van Riel both finished way off the pace. Aussie Max Stapley took second spot while Germany’s Justus Nieschlag delighted the home crowd by taking third.
Arena Games Munich 2022 Results: Beth Potter takes dominant win
Beth Potter produced an utterly dominant performance to win Arena Games Munich 2022 on Saturday afternoon. The Scottish star was incredibly impressive as she took control early and never relinquished that advantage en route to victory by a wide margin. German pair Lena Meissner and Anabel Knoll claimed the other podium spots, but in reality it was Potter first and the rest nowhere. She was that good.

Lucy would have lined up as favourite for the women’s title in Utah, and likely the same for that head-to-head with the great Nicola Spirig in Germany in early June. Now though Sub8 will move in a different direction, with a replacement for Charles-Barclay set to be announced in the coming days.

Differential Effects of One Meal per Day in the Evening on Metabolic Health and Physical Performance in Lean Individuals
Introduction Most humans spend more than 12–16 h per day in the postprandial state. Generally, food intake occurs in a three meal per 24 h fashion with in-between meal snacking (Kant, 2018; Paoli et al., 2019). After meal ingestion, plasma insulin concentrations rise and subsequently increase glucose uptake and -oxidation in peripheral tissues (Thiebaud et al., 1982).

But money today is mostly – but not exclusively – created by commercial banks. This chapter describes the ways in which this is done, it outlines the forces that drive and constrain this means of money creation, and it discusses the role of monetary policy.
