What was your first job as a journalist?
In college, I interviewed Weird Al and asked him if he ever planned to write his own music. Which he does. A "journalist" (cough) was born!
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yes. I have the same Adler typewriter Jack Torrance uses in The Shining because we're basically the same person, minus the snow labyrinth.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Superman.
Why did you become a journalist?
You know when you make a wrong turn, but you keep going with it, thinking eventually you'll figure it out and get there? Something like that.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
No. Only nerds and losers do that.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Gazing longingly at a computer in the distance.
