The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) recently published its "Roadmap for Retail Insurance – Empowering Consumers and Strengthening Markets" in which it has drawn together a number of strands of its work across the retail general insurance market to give an overview of how the FCA sees the market is working. The publications include the FCA's evaluation of the general insurance pricing practices intervention which was a rare intervention by the FCA into pricing rules.
