But I liked Michael’s alternative strap choices, so I found this cardura strap at home. Another option that occurred to me is putting it on a black bund strap. I know there aren’t many bund fans here, but I’ve always liked that Paul Newman casual cool look. Variety can be nice sometimes.

The process was collaborative and while very close to my original vision for the project, the outcome was improved with gentle nudges by Roland given his experience on both the execution and visual balance. The dial is complex, showing India and the island of Sri Lanka at the bottom.

From the Archives: Christmas Stockings Are an Industrial Triumph
The Colkets’ stockings, including the vintage golf stocking marked by the yellow arrow and show separately in the second photo. This article originally ran in The Wall Street Journal this time last year. Share Most of the stockings hanging from the Colket family’s suburban Philadelphia mantle this Christmas are what you would expect in 21st-century America. They are decorated with seasonal images in festive red, green and white.

A few pictures taken at The Armoury HK Jul 19, 2020,02:45 AM Mark, one of the owners, who is also a massive watch buff, managed to get some pieces from "Les Collectionneurs" on display at The Armoury Landmark. Others can be seen at the VC boutique in Prince's Building. Those particularly captured my imagination: The work does by the artisans at Vacheron to restore these watches is truly spectacular.
