Victor Infante’s Biography

Victor D. Infante is currently the entertainment editor for The Worcester Telegram & Gazette and the content editor for Worcester Magazine. Previously, he was an occasional contributor to OC Weekly, the editor-in-chief of the online literary journal, Radius, and the host and producer for WCCA TV's music program "Got It Covered." He is a regular judge for WCCA's "New Voices" singing competition.

His poems and short stories have appeared in numerous periodicals, websites and anthologies, and his first full-length poetry collection, "City of Insomnia," was published by Write Bloody Publishing. His most recent book is the "poetic novella," "Suffer For this: Sex, Love, Marriage and Rock 'n' Roll," from Mon Tide Press.

He has won six NENPA Awards for arts & entertainment reporting, and three in other areas. He won an Orange coutny Press Club Award for humor writing. He is a six-time finalist for the Boston Music Awards' "Music Journalist of the Year."

In 2025, he received the Worcester Music Awards' Lifetime Achievement Award for the contributions of his music journalism, and the Stanley Kunitz Medal for service to poetry.
