By Victoria Gaither Just in time for summer, Rutland’s newest running club, the Morning Grind Run Club, gathered in front of the Last Cup Cafe at 6:30 a.m. on Friday, June 5, and hit the pavements of downtown Rutland for a 3-mile run. “I wanted to bring a run club to my hometown because when I was at college, I was a part of two run clubs and it was the best time of my week,” explained organizer Karsyn Bellomo.

By Victoria Gaither By Victoria Gaither A chilly Saturday kicked off Memorial Day weekend at Killington’s Superstar with the sun peaking through as hundreds booted up to ski and ride Superstar. Talk at the umbrella bar was about how the groomers did an amazing job of moving snow around. The top-to-bottom skiing this late into the season was great because you didn’t have to take your boots off and walk. Skiers are happy to have Superstar back in action, as it was closed last season for upgrades.
