Victor Li’s Biography

I am an award-winning multimedia journalist based in Chicago. I'm the author of the book, "Nixon in New York: How Wall Street Helped Richard Nixon Win the White House." Currently, I am an assistant managing editor with the ABA Journal, covering the business of law and legal technology. I periodically co-hosts podcasts under the auspices of Legal Talk Network. Previously, I worked at ALM Media Properties in New York City for over three years, serving as a staff reporter for Law Technology News and The American Lawyer. My work has also been featured in Corporate Counsel, The Am Law Daily, The New York Law Journal, The National Law Journal, Texas Lawyer and The Litigation Daily, as well as The Utica Observer Dispatch, The Huffington Post, The Columbia Journalist, Amherst Magazine, Soccerlens, and The Berkshire Eagle.

I'm originally from Pittsburgh, PA and I enjoy rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Manchester United. I have fewer degrees than a thermometer, but a lot, nonetheless. I have a Masters from Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, a J.D. from Tulane University School of Law, and a B.A.. from Amherst College.
