1. Introduction Worldwide (racial) discrimination remains a persistent global concern due to its impact on all sectors of life [1]. Specifically, in Europe, racial discrimination, also termed racism, is considered the most common type of prejudice, with 59% of respondents claiming that they have experienced ethnic or skin colour-related discrimination, which creates social biases and exclusionary behaviours against people [2].
