Despite (the very welcome) rain showers, the fifth annual Life Your Dash Auto Show held May 30 in Fairfield was once again a big success with up to 84 vehicle registrations. Rene Peters, one of the organizers of the event, said before expenses have been paid, she estimates $20,000 or a little more was raised. “That matches what we have raised in years past,” Peters said.

The Fairfield-Teton Public Library is in good hands with Melissa Hatch at the helm as she has a passion for reading and loves to the library. Hatch started working at the library in June of 2022 as an assistant librarian and became the director in April, replacing Tracie Roeder. “I applied for the library director position because I’m not sure anyone in this community loves the Fairfield Library as much as I do,” Hatch said.

It was good news for the residents of Fairfield as the town’s wells have reached a level allowing for residents to begin modified watering restrictions. According to a post on the town’s Facebook page, “the canal has been fixed and our wells are to the level we can move to modified watering restrictions.” The town public works department noted the watering schedule will be in effect until further notice.
