Building the foundation for commerce media in the agentic era
The modern shopper journey is rarely a straight line. Consumers bounce between retailers’ sites, social feeds, publisher pages, mobile apps and more. As they move across the commerce ecosystem, they leave behind a breadcrumb trail of signals that never quite match up. Cookies in one corner, CRM IDs in another, and device identifiers off doing their own thing. For marketers, this creates a couple of challenges.

The EL Advantage Over PL: Setting the Standard in microLED Testing
By: Dr. Tali Hurvitz, VP Research & Development & Noam Shapiro, VP Communications, InZiv MicroLED technology is transforming the world of displays, from AR/VR devices to cutting-edge automotive applications. However, in order for microLED to mature both technologically and commercially, precise functional inspection continues to be essential. Photoluminescence (PL) and electroluminescence (EL) are two primary techniques for evaluating microLED functionality.
Safety Must Be Inclusive: How Organizational Safety Is Impacted Without DEI
Safety is not political; safety is a non-negotiable and inalienable right. At the 2025 , NSC President and CEO Lorraine Martin made it clear that ensuring worker safety goes above and beyond any political considerations or grandstanding. DEI has been a major target in the latest round of cuts and rhetoric from the Trump administration. Despite raging arguments about the costs, value and ethics of DEI programmes, people largely ignore a major component of their impact: safety.
Verdantix EHS Practice Rebrands To EHSQ
The abundance and availability of data is one of the defining features of the contemporary business environment. Never before have we had more information on which to base decisions – and never before has the imperative to do so been so clear in the minds of managers. However, quantity can be a problem all of its own, and it is no surprise that there is a surge in enthusiasm for digital solutions that can integrate and consolidate vast and diverse data sets into one consolidated view.

Stop Managing Identities, Segment them Instead
By Sagie Dulce, VP Research, Zero Networks A Brief History of Identity Management For as long as there have been identities, there have been solutions trying to manage them so that privileges won’t be accidentally or maliciously leaked. It started with passwords, or in other words: a secret. Unsurprisingly, these secrets tend to get leaked, shared, abused, stolen or simply turn out to be not so secret to begin with (Password123 and others, you know who you are).

Echoes of past bubbles
1929, 1973 and the dotcom bubbles all saw sustained monetary policy tightening and a clear divergence of surging bubble stocks vs the average stock moving sideways/falling. The 1929 top was preceded by 18 months of tightening policy and a 9-month period of divergence between surging bubble stocks (utilities + tech, thanks to buzz around new technologies and electrification) vs the average stock.

Fundamental gold buy signal triggered
On a 6-month+ outlook, we stick with a risk-off asset allocation while cyclical LEIs are negative and our US Recession Signal remains active. We highlighted potential portfolio hedges for VP clients as the US recession unfolds and policymaker panic is absent. The below is an excerpt from our Jan 10th report. We mostly avoided gold through 2022 as cyclical headwinds were strong (surging real yields) and tactical tools pointed to a negative trend for most of the year.
Volatility forest fires yet to burn
The below is an excerpt from our Nov 22nd report to VP clients. One of the interesting features of this year’s bear market has been the strong performance of short AND long vol strategies. Short vol strategies have worked this year as the VIX curve has mostly been in contango (positive roll effect from selling longer-term VIX futures and buying shorter-term futures) and VIX has not spiked above 36. We think forest fires offer a great analogy for thinking about volatility.
The credit cycle is deteriorating quickly
The downside growth risks from the bullwhip effect reversal and extreme lows in liquidity indicators favor risk-off positioning. We advised clients to sell equities and high yield credit into the rally that started in mid-June and put on hedges. The below is an excerpt from our Aug 9th report to clients. US HY spreads look too complacent relative to other market pricing and sharply deteriorating business and credit cycle indicators.
2022 asi International Radio & Audio Conference
Audio has consolidated its position as a vibrant medium for both listeners and advertisers. The ways in which audio and radio can be consumed (linear, catch up, podcasts) and the local and global platforms on which it is distributed mean that it is very much a hybrid medium.
Trading the commodity supercycle intermission
The commodity supercycle intermission is ongoing, but the structural thesis remains in tact (see our original thesis from Oct 2020 here). We have been helping clients manage their commodities exposure this year, balancing structural tailwinds, cyclical headwinds and tactical signals. Thebelow is an excerpt from our July 26th report. In our May Leading Indicator Watch, we wrote: We expect large swings and little directional bias to define the trading environment for the rest of 2022.
Bullwhip effect reversal is the major downside growth risk
The main downside risk today that the market may not fully appreciate is the reversal of the historically large post-Covid bullwhip effect, which pulled forward a lot of future demand. The bullwhip effect started with surging consumer goods demand and led to a huge restocking impulse up the supply chain. The below is an excerpt from our July 19th report.
Lessons learned in medical robotics development
Everyone wants to be innovative, but rarely is innovation a lightning strike of genius – especially within the robotics industry. Instead, it is an intentional process and methodology. This process is refined and modified over time to enable an organization’s ability to think creatively and execute effectively. This is particularly important when you are solving problems in robotics that have many variables and cannot be clearly defined.

Automakers’ Interim Data and Quarterly Earnings in the Spotlight
By Christine Short, VP Research, Wall Street Horizon Second-quarter earnings season is now in full swing. There is much pessimism this go around – a far cry from re-opening optimism and the “roaring 20s” narrative that the bulls hoped for. The reality is that global stocks are decidedly in a bear market and the macro economy appears to be on the brink of recession. Wall Street analysts have begun slashing GDP growth forecasts and S&P 500 earnings projections.

asiCast 130: Leading the drive for fan and viewer engagement
One of the most significant things since Liberty Media took over the running of the Formula 1 franchise is the extent to which research has been central to the innovations they have introduced to the sport. At the time Liberty became involved there was little or no research being undertaken and such information as there was about F1’s relationship to its fanbase was largely anecdotal.
asiCast 138: Recipes for effective media measurement
Video currency measurement is at a critical point at the moment as those who have been listening to our recent podcasts on the highly unstable situation in the US will know. With a number of alternative solutions being put forward, we thought it would be helpful to have a chat will Bill Harvey, Chairman of Research Measurement Technologies about the current situation and the relative merits of the tools being used.

2020 Midyear Outlook
The multifamily market started 2020 on solid ground and experienced nearly 10 years of above-average growth. However, the first half of 2020 is essentially the tale of two economies: the pre-pandemic economy and the economy of the pandemic’s first three months in the U.S. The unprecedented nature of this crisis will impact the housing market, but to what extent is still being played out.

A review of long-range wireless power technologies--the future is now (Reader Forum)
Wireless technologies have been popular with consumers for several decades now (think Wi-Fi, cordless phones, etc.). The proliferation of smart devices has only fed the need for wireless advances, which have largely come in the form of vastly improved computing power, network connectivity and sharp increases in speed, ease of use and utility.
Wireless power: matching requirements with available technology
Infrared technology can power mobile and smart devices at distances of 10 m and power levels of up to 10 W By Ori Mor, VP research and development, Wi-Charge The promise of wireless power, or wireless energy transfer, is certainly not new. Famously, Nikola Tesla experimented with long-range wireless energy transfer, but his most ambitious attempt — the Wardenclyffe Tower — failed when he ran out of money.
Not Every Security Flaw Is Created Equal
You need smart prioritization to close the riskiest vulnerabilities. Effective DevSecOps leads the way, according to a new study. Just as middle-distance runners have long thought the limits of human endurance would prevent anyone from running a four-minute mile, many enterprises today believe there is a similar barrier to achieving both speed and quality with software delivery. With applications evolving so quickly, the question is whether application security can keep pace.
How APIs Can Drive The Adoption of Meaningful Business Analytics
As more enterprises embrace digital business models, they are evolving toward becoming data-driven organizations and harnessing analytics to understand the business' dynamics, detect patterns, and predict future developments.
