Keep it short; to the point. Stick to the highlights & show why story would interest readers.

Nope! I was too busy "mucking" about (no pun intended)

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Forget about becoming rich! Make sure you are doing this because you truly love it.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

At the wheel of a car or on a motorbike or riding a horse. If not on any of those then I would be doing some form of adventure sports.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

That it motoring journalism is easy.
