Chiral scintillators, a new class of luminescent materials, are expanding the capabilities of radiation detection and imaging technologies by efficiently converting high-energy excitation into circularly polarized radioluminescence (CPRL). This perspective summarizes the recent advancements in chiral scintillators, highlighting their potential in reducing optical crosstalk, improving X-ray imaging resolution, and enabling deep-penetrating asymmetric photopolymerization.
