2.4. Species Distribution Modeling In this study, we used the VisTrails platform’s extension tool, SAHM (Software for Assisted Habitat Modeling), which supports SDM analysis, and selected the highly accurate and stable random forest (RF) SDM. RF generates multiple decision trees for the relationship between environmental variables and target species locations using bootstrap resampling, allowing duplicates.
