Abstract Proactive surveillance of wildlife has the potential to help prevent pandemics caused by coronaviruses spilling over into human populations, but the relative value of this approach versus early outbreak investigation has been debated. This study investigated bat coronavirus zoonotic potential in a high human-wildlife interaction site in Ratchaburi, Thailand.

ABSTRACT Climate change is an important driver of shifts in species’ geographic distributions, including those of several truffle species. Understanding these shifts is essential for effective conservation and sustainable ecosystem management. This study aimed to identify suitable habitats for three Tuber species discovered in Thailand—Tuber lannaense, T. thailandicum, and T. magnatum—and project their future distributions under climate change scenarios.

1 INTRODUCTION The banteng (Bos javanicus) is a large herbivore belonging to the Bovidae Family with a natural geographical range limited to Southeast Asia (Gardner et al., 2016; Kongsurakan et al., 2020; Pedrono et al., 2009). It is listed as endangered with a recent population decline of at least 50%, currently existing in small isolated populations. In Thailand, until recently, its range and population were drastically reduced by approximately 80% (Gardner et al., 2016; WWF et al., 2023).
