Experimental study of a ventilated supercavitating vehicle model in a high-speed water tunnel
Abstract To investigate the evolution of cavity morphology and the ventilation characteristics of ventilated supercavitating vehicles, a scaled-model experiment was conducted in the high-speed water tunnel at the China Ship Scientific Research Center. High-speed photography, pressure measurements, and flow rate control were employed to capture the cavity boundary profiles and the corresponding cavitation numbers under various ventilation parameters.
Evaluation of antimicrobial resistance governance across 193 countries to inform the 2026 Global Action Plan update - Nature Medicine
|
Abstract Antimicrobial resistance (AMR) poses a major global health threat, yet the effectiveness of national action plans (NAPs) remains uncertain. Here we developed a multidimensional One Health governance index through a structured Delphi expert consultation to evaluate AMR governance across 193 countries (2017–2022), integrating 269 policy documents, expert-weighted indicators and multinational survey and surveillance datasets.

The effect of perceived stress on depression in stroke: the chain mediating role of self-acceptance and self-perceived burden
Highlights • Findings from this research contributes to a deeper understanding of the pathogenesis and psychological mechanism of depression symptoms in stroke, and also provides strong theoretical support and practical guidance for clinical practice. • This paper found that self-acceptance and self-perceived burden played a key mediating role in the influence of perceived stress on depression symptoms in stroke patients.
Genomic characterization of Escherichia coli with a polyketide synthase (pks) island isolated from ulcerative colitis patients - BMC Genomics
A total of 15 E. coli strains from UC patients were used in this study, and the strains were previously reported in 2004 [34]. The genomic DNA of the 15 strains was extracted using the TIANamp Bacteria D.N.A. Kit (TIANGEN, Beijing, China). Subsequently, the DNA libraries were prepared using the KAPA HyperPrep Kit (Roche, Basel, Switzerland) following the manufacturer’s instructions and sequenced on the Illumina NovaSeq platform with a 150 bp paired-end strategy.
Genomic characterization of Escherichia coli harbor a polyketide synthase (pks) island associated with colorectal cancer (CRC) development
Abstract The E. coli strain harboring the polyketide synthase (Pks) island encodes the genotoxin colibactin, a secondary metabolite reported to have severe implications for human health and for the progression of colorectal cancer. The present study involved whole-genome-wide comparison and phylogenetic analysis of pks harboring E. coli isolates to gain insight into the distribution and evolution of these organism. Fifteen E.
Simulation and Multi-Objective Optimization of Three-Column Double-Effect Methanol Distillation by NSGA-III Algorithm
Abstract : The multi-objective optimization of methanol distillation is a critical and complex issue in the methanol industry. The three-column methanol distillation scheme is first simulated with Aspen Plus to provide the initial value of the NSGA-III algorithm. The operating parameters are optimized through the Python-Aspen platform. The total annual cost and CO2 emissions are considered the objective function.
Low Frequency Giant Magneto-Impedance Effect of Co-Rich Ribbons Induced by Joule Annealing Treatment
Abstract : The giant magneto-impedance (GMI) effect of Co83.2Fe5.2Si8.8B2.8 ribbons at frequencies of <1 MHz was analyzed. To improve the GMI response, a Joule annealing treatment was conducted with a direct current, and the domain structure of the ribbon surface was investigated via magneto-optical Kerr effect microscopy. The annealed ribbons show larger impedance changes under external magnetic fields, and higher field sensitivity is obtained by certain current annealing treatments.
The 135 Gene of Goatpox Virus Encodes an Inhibitor of NF-κB and Apoptosis and May Serve as an Improved Insertion Site To Generate Vectored Live Vaccine
ABSTRACTGoatpox virus (GTPV) is an important member of the Capripoxvirus genus of the Poxviridae. Capripoxviruses have large and complex DNA genomes encoding many unknown proteins that may contribute to virulence. We identified that the 135 open reading frame of GTPV is an early gene that encodes an ∼18-kDa protein that is nonessential for viral replication in cells. This protein functioned as an inhibitor of NF-κB activation and apoptosis and is similar to the N1L protein of vaccinia virus.
Asymmetric 2D benzodithiophene and quinoxaline Copolymer for photovoltaic applications
Two novel copolymer donors based on one-dimensional (1D)-two-dimensional (2D) asymmetrical BDT units (BDTPH-H and BDTPH-OR) and 2,3-diphenyl-5,8-di(thiophen-2-yl)quinoxaline (DTQx) were synthesized to compared with the one-dimensional or two-dimensional symmetry BDT units based photovoltaic polymer. Both two asymmetrical polymers exhibited promising photovoltaic performance than 1D and 2D symmetry BDT polymers.
Comparative Study of Conformational Effect of Dithienothiophene and Terthiophene Based Photovoltaic Polymers
The conformational change of polymer backbone has obvious influence on the blended film morphology and the photovoltaic properties. A planar polymer backbone can provide strong intermolecular interaction, but exceeding self-aggregation usually disadvantages favorable film morphology.
Extending Two-Dimensional π-Conjugation Length by Introducing the Alkoxybiphenyl unit for Efficient Benzodithiophene based Photovoltaic Polymer
A novel monomer alkoxybiphenyl-substituted benzodithiophene (BDTBP) was synthesized and used as the donor to construct a donor-acceptor copolymer PBDTBP-DTffBT with 4,7-di((4-(2-ethylhexyl)-2-thienyl)-5,6-difluoro-2,1,3-benzothiadiazole (DTffBT) as the acceptor unit. Compared with the corresponding polymer PBDTP-DTffBT based on alkoxyphenyl-substituted BDT, PBDTBP-DTffBT exhibits red-shifted UV-vis absorption spectra due to extended π-conjugation structure.
Efficiency enhancement in indacenodithiophene and thieno[3,4-c]pyrrole-4,6-dione backboned photovoltaic polymer with extended thieno[3,2-b]thiophene π-bridge - Journal of Materials Chemistry C (RSC Publishing)
Two novel donor-π-acceptor (D-π-A) type polymers based on indacenodithiophene (IDT) and thieno[3,4-c]pyrrole-4,6-dione (TPD) with thiophene (PIDT-t-TPD) or thieno[3,2-b]thiophene (PIDT-tt-TPD) as π-bridges were designed and synthesized. The π-conjugated backbone length in the repeating unit of the polymer chain was varied by different π-bridges.
