Introduction Cervical cancer ranks as the fourth most prevalent malignant tumor in women, presenting a significant health concern (1). Annually, there are approximately 604,000 new cases of cervical cancer and 342,000 global fatalities associated with the disease, as reported by the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention (2). The etiology of cervical cancer is well-established, with the disease being closely linked to persistent human papillomavirus (HPV) infection (3, 4).
