TODAY'S Swanage Carnival parade has been delayed by an hour due to heavy rain. The carnival procession, which was set to start at 3pm, has a superheroes theme, so expect some colourful costumes and crime-busting floats. Carnival secretary Linda Welsh said: "The procession has been put back until 4pm. "This is to give everyone an extra hour to prepare.
