Rory McIlroy just had a winning Sunday that was about more than just golf—it was about family. After clinching both the DP World Tour Championship and the Race to Dubai, he shared a heartfelt moment with his wife, Erica Stolland, and their adorable four-year-old daughter, Poppy, on the 18th green at Jumeirah Golf Estates. Father’s Love This wasn’t just any win for Rory; it was the first time Poppy was old enough to appreciate what her dad was up to on the golf course.

Golf enthusiasts, take note! The iconic Claret Jug, awarded to John Daly for his victory at The Open in 1995 at St Andrews, is now officially up for auction. Bidding for the historic replica is already underway and currently stands at $86,000 with six days remaining. This prized trophy is part of Golden Age Auctions’ latest premier auction, which will be accepting bids until Sunday, November 17.

Unless a fresh tempest intervenes to postpone Rory McIlroy and Tiger Woods’ TGL for a second consecutive year, all eyes will be on McIlroy as he shifts his focus to this exciting new venture alongside Woods in 2025. The inaugural event is set for January 8, but McIlroy will first lead his Boston Common team into action on January 27, allowing him to defend his title at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic (January 16-19).
