Independent journalist from Northern California. I have a passion for multimodal stories and matching the right medium for the right story. I have a focus on audio engineering, in college I created my student publication's Podcast program from the ground up and produced three shows a week for them. I have a passion for more human interest and human impact stories. When large events happen, human faces are how an audience can connect with and understand a story show "why this matters" is just as much of the story to me as "what happened."
