William Becker is an expert and frequent blogger on global climate change and America's transition to a net-zero carbon economy. He began his career as a war correspondent for Stars and Stripes during the Vietnam War, then went on to report for the Associated Press and to publish his own weekly newspaper in rural Wisconsin. He served for several years as the editorial writer for the Wisconsin State Journal in Madison, WI. Bill was a senior official at the U.S. Dept. of Energy for 15 years, specializing in renewable energy technologies and programs.
