Cytomegalovirus infection lengthens the cell cycle of granule cell precursors during postnatal cerebellar development
Abstract Human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) infection in infants infected in utero can lead to a variety of neurodevelopmental disorders. However, mechanisms underlying altered neurodevelopment in infected infants remain poorly understood. We have previously described a murine model of congenital HCMV infection in which murine CMV (MCMV) spreads hematogenously and establishes a focal infection in all regions of the brain of newborn mice, including the cerebellum.
Receptor-Independent Therapies for Forensic Detainees with Schizophrenia-Dementia Comorbidity
1. Introduction The population worldwide is aging at a rapid pace and so are forensic detainees with severe psychiatric illnesses, including schizophrenia (SCZ) and schizophrenia-like disorders (SLDs). In forensic institutions, there are two subpopulations of elderly patients with neurocognitive disorders: career criminals with lifelong mental illness and elderly first offenders without previous psychiatric history.
Localization of the WD Repeat-Containing Protein 5 to the Virion Assembly Compartment Facilitates Human Cytomegalovirus Assembly
Virus-Cell Interactions Bo Yang, YongXuan Yao, Hui Wu, Hong Yang, Xue-Hui Ma, Dong Li, Xian-Zhang Wang, Sheng-Nan Huang, Xuan Jiang, Shuang Cheng, Jin-Yan Sun, Zhen-Li Huang, CongJian Zhao, Michael A. McVoy, Jin-Hyun Ahn, Wen-Bo Zeng, William J. Britt, Sitang Gong, Min-Hua Luo Felicia Goodrum, Editor DOI: 10.1128/JVI.02101-20 ABSTRACT We previously reported that human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) utilizes the cellular protein WD repeat-containing protein 5 (WDR5) to facilitate capsid nuclear egress.

Human Cytomegalovirus Envelope Protein gpUL132 Regulates Infectious Virus Production through Formation of the Viral Assembly Compartment
Research Article | Host-Microbe Biology Hui Wu, Barbara Kropff, Michael Mach, William J. Britt Thomas Shenk, Editor DOI: 10.1128/mBio.02044-20 ABSTRACT The human cytomegalovirus (HCMV) UL132 open reading frame encodes a 270-amino-acid type I envelope glycoprotein, gpUL132. The deletion of UL132 (ΔUL132) from the HCMV genome results in a pronounced deficit in virus yield, with an approximately 2-log decrease in the production of infectious virus compared to the wild-type (WT) virus.

Streaming movie from Galaxy S5 to TV, through laptop?
Summary: I want to stream Google Play movie from Android to HDMI/VGA/Composite TV, possibly through laptop. I have no idea whether it's possible or not but I'd really love some insight from some more knowledgeable people on. More in depth: I have a Galaxy S5, unrooted, that I absolutely love. First smart phone, I've been living off of a talk/text only phone previously.
