1 Introduction Case: A 55-year-old father of three with severely calcified left anterior descending coronary artery disease underwent complex percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) with rotational atherectomy. Despite meticulous technique, he developed severe neurological deficits post-procedure consistent with a cerebrovascular accident. Despite optimal neurological care, he was left with severe permanent disability.
