1 Introduction Globally, children's feeding practices are a major public health concern (Dukhi 2020). Evidence indicates that 90% of children receive less than the bare minimum of dietary content (DevelopmentAid n.d.) In developing countries, just one out of five children under 24 months old gets the minimum recommended diet (Belay et al. 2022). These alarming findings are primarily the result of inadequate supplemental feeding practices.
