Minnesota Drops to No. 24 Wisconsin 3-0

ST. PAUL, Minn. - The University of Minnesota women's soccer team (5-6-1, 1-4-1 Big Ten) fell to No. 24 Wisconsin (9-3-1, 3-2-1 Big Ten) in a 3-0 loss Saturday evening at Elizabeth Lyle Robbie Stadium in front of 1,310 fans. The Golden Gophers tallied 11 shots, including two on goal. Paige Kalal, Caroline Birdsell, Keegan Schmeiser and Aaryn Gabriel each recorded two chances. Goalkeeper Sarah Martin made five saves. All three of Wisconsin's goals came in the first half.
