In recent years, endovascular therapies such as thrombectomy have emerged as treatment options designed to achieve more rapid and complete thrombus removal. While thrombectomy has been prevalent in the PE space for years, there has been paucity of level 1 evidence comparing against the well-established standard of care, AC alone.
